Update April 13, 2008
When March finally rolls around each year, some people get baseball spring training fever. Me? I guess you can call it spring soil fever. You gardeners out there can relate, right?I’ve been planting seeds and watching things sprout and grow for a month now, so I couldn’t wait any longer to let you know about new things growing this year at Crossway Farms.
We have planted more raspberries and strawberries to keep up with demand. We are also expanding our selection of vegetables, plus trying new heirloom varieties that I hope will excite your taste buds. Onions, lettuce, and yes, tomatoes are what we have growing right now. Hopefully, as soon as the weather breaks we will get to plant more varieties and get them growing. We are looking forward to seeing you in May.
